I trust K&M and it has improved my civic, but I'm not too sure about KKM, is it reliable or any good? 99 Ford Contour SE 2 12" kenwood subs,1000W kenwood amp, Pioneer Head dehp7300, RF 5" Components (f), pioneer 6x8, Dynamat, K&N filter, aftermarket foglamps, side markers

perry Master P P Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 5,455 Cornfields of Indiana	The KKM induction system uses a conical S&B Powerstack filter made of cotton gauze. Same stuff that K&N filters are made of, but direct replacement and their conical filters. Biggest concern with the KKM is Heat soak and a Ford dealer giving you a hard time if something goes wrong with the engine. KKM has the metal pipe, which gets hot along with the engine heat, so....you don�t get cold air as you would with a direct fit to the MAF. K&N goes for this option. I wouldnt reccomend the K&N Cyclone w/the aluminum tube.
