I need help deciding which one to get. They all come with a 2 1/4" inlet. Any Suggestions?

BTW, They all cost $283.49 from Borla. Probably cheaper somewhere else.

I would go with the "Thumper", "Blow Torch" or "Wail Tail". They are some of the best ones on there and would be more likely fit on the 'Tour.

Good golly! Almost $300 for a stinkin muffler?!?! What's so special that makes them worth that much more than a Flowmaster or other brand? Don't say chrome plating, because you can't see the muffler, don't say the tip because you can get any tip you want put on any cheaper muffler... Is it just the fact it has "Borla" stamped on it?

Yes its alot, but no one else has the deep throaty sound like Borla. Flowmasters are too big for my taste and dont have a deep tone like Borla. If there is another company that can compare with the Borla tone at a cheaper price Id go for it.

my vote goes to the spitfire. i like the "2-out" look. i would change the tips, though to make them point down and stay concealed under the bumber a little. i hate the ones that stick up in the air 6 inches from the bumper.

go for the subtle approach, IMO

I will never understand why everyone buys those expensive things. I have compared my exhuast(system) to others (Borla, Flowmaster, etc.) with Dynos and sounds. Mine sounds just as good and even better than some. I only paid like $300 for the WHOLE exhaust parts and install. I mean, you guys might want the "name brand" stuff but, why......

Just my opinion.

I really dont care about name brands, but Borla has the best tone Ive heard. Like I said before, if there is another way to get the same deep, throaty sound like Borla at a much cheaper price, Id go for it.

Have you heard one on a four cylinder Contour before? Or just V8's? They look like those mufflers that ricers put on the back of Honda's that sound like pissed off bumble bees in a tin can. It'd suck to spend $300 and the muffler sounding like junk on a 4 cylinder....
