Will these babies bolt on to our trans? What are the low HP and TRQ numbers? Finally, cant these engines take Turbos?

my question is not if it will fit on the tranny but if the tranny can take to power

in turbo form they are rated 204hp + like the Sierra Coswoth Escort Cosworth ect... This is in detuned for the street a lot of Fords performance cars got the Cossie in the rest of the world. Turn up the wick on these motors & 300+hp is easy to come by. I dont miss much about the old country (Hell after 26 years here I dont remember much) except the awsome cars the facory cars created so they could go rallying. These motors ROCK!!!

Yes the Cosworth YB series engine will physically bolt to your Zetec tranny. There might be a problem with the cossies big flywheel though, the cossie use a 240mm clutch.
They are turbocharged in std. form although I believe that Ford Racing Performance Parts sold NA versions in the US a while ago.
The engine is rated at 204HP @ 6000rpm and 200lb/ft @ 4500rpm
Later version had 220 - 227hp and a bit more torque both peak and at a lower rev.
It`s a beautiful engine and very tuneable.

Yes the 2.0 Cosworth will mate to the Zetec MTX75(not the duratec).This is a track option for the 'beast' on my site.New Cosworth (genuine!) engines are expensive.I have contacts and can build you a t/c or n/a version if you are interested.TAH ------------------ V6 MTX 'Buy the tools and dodge the fools..." What makes the Cosworth different from the Zetec? How much to have one imported?
