Maybe it will make me feel better to talk it out.
I took a hard left 90, on the outside. A plain jane honda accord was on the inside, way inside, I might ad, perhaps he was even in the oncoming lane, Im not too sure as I was too busy spining out to look over.
Sorry I let everyone down, including you Mr. Koni, Mr. H and Mr. R.
I guess I could blame my tires, but since they're bald, they should be like racing slicks, right?
This is all very sad. I must go now. Goodbye.

I lived to tell about it. It was a low speed corner, taken it hundreds of times, I was doing about 35, maybe 40 at most. No damage, not even my ego as that has always been kind of small. I dont think I had the front end loaded up enough with hard enough braking at the time the skid started.
To answer the subframe connector question, they are barely noticable as I had them installed the same time as the suspension upgrades, hard to tell which upgrade has done the most to improve the car. Together, I notice a lot less brake dive, car maybe feels a little tighter, although I wasnt having any squeeking problems before I had them installed.

Amy chance you had just used some tire dressing or anything like that on the sidewalls? Only time i have ever looped it in traffic (not this car but my first sports car an 82 supra) was just after i had armoralled the tires, it was kinda the same thing, a turn i had been taking everyday at the same speeds etc. Since then (10 or 12 years ago) i have come across a few people here and there that have had the same experience. I have never used tire dressing of any kind since then. I'd rather have dirty sidewalls than a crunched rear quarter! Anyway, you can always use that as an excuse if need be, " hmmm the rear tire must have rolled over onto that slippery sidewall.... I'll have to adjust the pressure then"

Just returned to the scene of the crime. There were bulldozers and dump trucks parked on the side of the road and there were stones, shall we say in true racer parlance, "marbles", on the track, I mean road.
So I have my excuse.
