Sorry for the multiple posts in each group but need:
Help!!!! I need help on removing the Instrument Cluster on my 95 Contour. I successfully removed the Black Trim and even got the Plastic Shield off the Cluster without removing it. I noticed that the Fuel and Temp gauges plug in and can be removed. However, the Speedo is attached to the Cable. I can not pull it out enough to disconnect it. My new gauges from BlackCatRacing are coming in on Tuesday and I want to be prepared since I have no time on Weekdays. If I disconnect the cable from the Engine and then pull it out, is there any way of getting it back through? Or any other way? Also, does anybody know if the gauges are just stickers requiring me to peel off the old ones or are they completly new plastic faces?

Please Help!!!!!

Many thanks in Advance.

Where the speedo cable goes into the back of the speedo 'head' there is a plastic clip, press and pull out the cable, don't go to the tranny to disconnect.when you refit make sure the 'square drive' cable in the middle of the outer cable engages with the speedo head correctly or you wont get the outer 'cover' cable & clip to re-engage.
