I installed remote filter and oil cooler system in my SVT. Got MSDS Vortech headers, so had to lose the stock oil cooler. On SVT, if you remove the stock cooler, you have to replace the mounting boss (the threaded filter mount) with regular Dura-tec boss. If you are keeping the stock oil cooler, this should not be necessary. I used individual parts purchased from www.racerpartswholesale.com
I used the dual inlet/outlet filter mount and mounted it under the battery tray along side the a/c accumulator. The filter is straight up and down, so no mess when changing. Can even fill the filter with clean oil b-4 installing! It uses larger old-style Ford filters, so filters are readily obtainable. Don't have time to get in to more details right now, but search the mods forums for thread about gauge installs and you will find parts list etc.
PS Mr Haines said I had a good setup. wink
