Well remember that computer and timing mod I did. ell me and my buddy raced. He was about a car length ahead (because of 5 spd)of me and as we got to the century mark I just all of sudden flew by him like he was standing still! He was so pissed and I said " WOW"!
I do however have to run 93 Octane though but who cars I made me some history! I hit 110 and he was about two car lengths behind and he even DIDN'T hit his governor!! Woody woo!!

Computer and timing mod? Do explain. I don't see this being possible except with a chip if so, then the chip is what did it.

i don't even bother with them anymore cuz all i have to do is 1st and second gears to beat them.i gave up on them

Well the Zetec Engine comes from the factory with a emissions legal exetent on the fuel flow etc. Well this guy wentin with the computer and completely erased my whole computer and reprogrammed it to read the max. So he said I have full power coming from the computer. He said it does exactly what a chip would do, and seeing how I flew by my buddy like he as standing still I asumne it works, since before I could never do that. C-ya!

So basically you didn't do anything, just pretty much reprogramed the ECU. Where did you get it done and how much?

There is this late night mechanic that knows how to mod every ford car. The Zetec Engine is the easiest in the inline 4's. He described the mod as ford legally gives you emissions ___________ but when he reprogramed the ecu it maxed it out____________________________________ and he said it does everything that the cips would do, better timing, no speed limiter etc.

Soo, you didn't do anything, you just had the ECU remapped. How much did that cost and where did you get it done at?

It didn't cost anyhting and only took 5 minutes. The tech at my wqork did it. Just find a friend that works in the service department and tell them your check engine light comes on and off and you need to talk to the tech. By the way this is illegal??
