specifically for Terry H, Rara or anyone else that can give some answers..... ive been tossin around the idea for my next car..... a 98 or newer 4 cyl. MTX contour.....reason being id like to have a mid 13 sec. street car.....and a contour to boot.....ive been doin some research and looking around on the web and have found numerous Zetec performace parts etc..... now im thinkin Gude head package....FZ racing or anyone elses turbo kit (stage 3 or 4, blow off and front mounted intercooler with full plumbing and t3/t4 hybrid) and the typical intake, exhaust, plugs, UDP's and cam gears etc.... couldnt we have a high 13 sec. Zetec? of course beef up the tranny with a centerforce or grizzly racing clutch, racing flywheel and beefed up rear axle..... and alot of other small engine internals that the head work dint take care of..... i know it would be runnin expensive tab but the question is that it is very possible? id like to do a weight reduction...carbon hood... racing seats..... etc and see what QTs would be? Zetec guys look around and save ur money....there are possibilitys..... ahh how great this car would be......
