i noticed a difference when i put the wires on cause i put new plugs in at the same time, the idle got a lot smoother.
With the coil installed it revs a little better at higher rpms. as for power, nothing extremely noticable. For 60 bucks, i wasnt expecting much, but noone else i saw had one, so i figured I'd be the ginnie (speling?) pig for the rest of ya.

During the hotter summer days, yes, i did notice that after i got off the highway and sat at a stoplight it would hit the "L" of "normal" on the temp gauge. Now that its cooler it rarely does this, it never went out of the normal range so i dont worry about it. As for power loss, i didnt notice it. I was thinking of making some kinda heat shield, but winter is rolling in so I'll wait till spring.

Whereabouts can I locate a KKM intake? I was looking at a K&N filter but they only offer the air box replacement kind. I was thinking of buying a generic cone and workin' it to fit but I would just as soon order a proper one.
I think KKM has a website but I can't find it.:-(
How much did the H&R springs cost ya? I went lookin' for em and everyone I talked to said that no one makes 2.0 Contour springs anymore except Sprint and they are a few months away from production.

Your engine will draw so much more if you move your distribution, to the top of your battery, then pull out the plastic air intake thing on the fender wall, and put the cone were your box, used to be.

hey FuturSVT,
I couldnt get your email from here, but i am interested as to how you got the power box on top of the battery, i was looking at that this weekend and it looked pretty tight. I also wanna know how easy it is to get the power dist. box out so i can at least get that plastic fender thing outta there.

Thanx, Mark

ps, if you wanna email me your email adress, mines crazyshovl@aol.com

Check out the how to FAQ on SVT induction. It has good step by step instructions on taking out the fender well stuff. Once you get the plastic stuff out and you have the fender well loose, you take you input to the next level by running a hose down along the fender well to the front of the car where the real cold air is.
