Well guys, I am no longer "the artist formerly known as M3mike" My wife and I are expecting our second child as of last month. Which has caused me to ponder whether owning a monster like the M3 is a good idea with two very young children. If any of you have had the pleasure of driving one you know exactly what that means. Not to mention that the cost of the car alone hurt around the a$$ area once a month ($600 per month) The car is an absolute drag to drive if you are not pushing it to its unbelievable limits. Which I had done more than once in the three and a half months I owned it. So, We went looking for a more suitable platform for comfortability, practibility, and performance. After minutes of searching (hehe) it found me and I bought it.A Red 2000 VW Jetta GLX VR6 5-speed, 13k miles, tinted windows, leather interior, dual power/heated seats. Wood grain interior, monsoon sound system, climate control. And best of all, $200 less in payments per month. Now it is stock, and I dont plan on modding it till I have done a few more things with my civic. I dont log onto the forum too often, so email me when you guys plan a get together. Ill try my best to attend, eat your food, and drool on your rides, hahaha

Ha-Ha, drool on OUR rides, yeah right Mr.M3...maybe now that you have a Jetta. Thats actually a very nice car too. I cetainly wouldn't mine having one, my friend recently bought a 2001 Jetta Wolfsburg with the 1.8T motor. Congratulations on your new addition to the family....YES the kid!....but the car too. So, did you trade in the M3 I guess? We're trying to get something together as far as a meet is concerned, we'll let ya know.

Don't do it, don't jump! You've got so many roads left to drive... What are the plans for the Civic? Alex

The track sounds fun, I am looking forward to driving the piss out of my car. I'll bring a co-worker of mine. He has a 02 jetta 1.8t. He's got 80 miles on it. And already has started modding it. It should be interesting. Until then, is a meet in the near future in the works?
