I can't belive it ... Yesterday I took my son to the Denver Airport so he could go back to his moms in Arizona (he was down here for Christmas break) .. Well I parked on Level 4 like I always do when I'm there .. Well I put him on his place and went back to my car like I always do.. Walked out to level 4 in the parking garage 2nd row, stopped, looked and my heart stopped.. NO CAR ... I was sure this is where I parked it .. Well maybe not so I looked around and walked every row of the level and it wasn't there ... I knew it was level 4 because its the only level that the road is on to pick up passengers ... So I walk up to a cop and asked what to do to report it .. He tells me to go to the airport tranportation office to see if they towed it .. Ok I was feeling a little better that maybe it was just towed and not stolen but I couldn't figure out why they would tow it .. Surely not because I still hav my TN plates on it
.. Well I go to the office and the lady looks at me and says no they did not tow my car .. Ok my heart sank again
... She said she would call to see if an Officer would come down to take my report ...
As I was standing there waiting(you know how long it can take an officer to show up for a non-emergency) I happened to look around and looked at the way I came in to get to the office .. I looked the opposite way and noticed WEST baggage ... No I couldn't have been that stupid could I .. Well I know it would be a few till the officer got there so I walked out the door at level 4 2nd row and there was my car ... I felt like such a dumbass because I was looking for my lost car on the wrong side of the aiport in the EAST side when I parked on the WEST side ...
I felt so dumb I couln't go in to tell anyone I found my misplaced car to I just got in and drove off ...
On the way out of the parking area where you pay I was expecting to get pulled over because maybe the airport people were looking for my stolen(misplaced) car
Damn I hate how they have both sides of the airport look exactly the same ....
Oh well ... Call me Dumbass because I think I deserve it ....
I'm not going to give you any award. Why? Cause if I were to laugh at you, you know the same thing would happen to me. :rolleyes:
