Definitely pushed it closer to the limits at the "Creek" today. Not much competition to chase around today. There was a mid-90's BMW 5 series that wasn't up to the task. There was a Subaru Imprezza that I thought might be a challenge on the tight road course but he waved me right by. There was an Audi TT but we never seemed to get out on the course anywhere near each other but I think I was catching him.
There was an "M" Roadster that was fun. He passed me on my warm up lap and surprisingly I kept with him. I talked to him in the paddock and he told me that before he adjusted the camber on his car he had a plowing problem...I thought that was only a problem with front-wheel drive cars.
A lot more throttle management this time as I was really powering through the corner a lot harder today. Alomst lost it on the big sweeping hairpin today. I broke late, and ended up in the marbles on the corner, then I came on the power a little early, that was fun. My dad is in town so I took him out. Neither of us remebered to wear our watches so I don't know how I compared time-wise from Friday. My guess is, I may have shaved a second or two off from Friday's runs.
Happy New Years!!!
