Whats up with the msds headers did you get them on or what???? What else did you get done to the car's exhaust? high flow cat if so how do you like it??
My power loss has gone away but it took disconecting the battery and about one weeks of driving it around!! eek

The reason I wanted to know about the high flow cat is mine is going bad and ford wont warr: it because I put on SVT exhaust..
My car is not a SVT NO EXCEPTIONS so ford said So If I am going to pay for this it's going to be worth my time and money, you get my point.
Let me know soon my car is realy starting to stink!
Thanks Rick laugh

Yesterday was a sad day when I found out the headers would void the warranty. I guess if I thought about it I probably would have figured that out a long time ago since it dispenses with the two precats. So, I'm just gonna have to bolt on the Sho-Shop Y instead. As we've all read, with a good cat back the Y is gonna yield close to 10 HP. I've had my Borla on for about a year now and I love it. I just couldn't justify losing 2.5 years a warranty coverage. This is the type of part that Ford could blame all sorts of things on and void my warranty so I'll just have to wait.

Thanks for getting back with me sorry about the news,it must have really been disapointing...

Infact you are so right, here is the latest on my 96 SE I put on stock SVT cat back 3 weeks ago and now my car smells like a bad egg. So I call the dealer to ask about this.
If it were the cats any of the 3 that are on this car, it would be coverd under war:
But because I put on SVT exhaust my emis: war: is now totaly voided eek O well the price on wanting something better than stock.
Being that I must pass the E check rip off evey year if I were to put the sho shop y pipe on how will that affect passing the E check? just a thought! I have allso heard that if you are res less the y pipe adds more rasp is that really so?

Well Id better get back to work
Thanks Rick laugh

From what I have gathered, as long as we get the Y-pipe with the high-flow cat we should be just fine. I don't know if I feel like waiting for that group buy to fill up, I wanna order the Y NOW!!! I'm gonna call sho-shop and find out what the wait time is for this and order probably sometime next week. I'm assumming that I won't have a problem replacing the cat w/the Sho-shop since my car has 43K on it. Anyone know how long my cat has to be on the car before a shop will touch it? No biggie anyways, though, as the Y-pipe is a straight bolt on( no welding ). I think even I could handle that install.

If you need help installing, let me know. Two monkeys are better than one.

BLK98.5SVT- did you purchase the MSDS headers already? Just curious.. Looks like I got in on the Y-pipe group buy, which should be going down this week. We have 20 as of earlier today. I don't think it's too late to get in, as the original group buy was for 25, but they lowered the number to 20. Check the group buy forum for the latest.
Rorshack- Thanks for the exhaust! I couldn't install it due to a frozen exhaust bolt which wouldn't give up. Once I get the Y-pipe, I'll be able to install it. It better get here soon!
