Well hello every one how is every thing going? Take a look at the web page, click on the members, new stuff has been added.More to come as I get it from you!!!! Well this week end I put on new SVT exhaust,Looks and sounds great!!!! However it seems that I have lost low end or off the light response. I have a V6 and a Atx. Will the computer relearn and adjust or will I need to add a chip??? Other than that it does seem faster. It is Res less I love how it sounds it is not to loud, just right. NO drone and some rasp but very little rasp!!!!!! Well that's all for now.

Just disconnect the battery for about 10 min in order for the computer to dump the old program, then drive. The computer will learn how to compensate for your greater exhaust flow, and the HP will magicaly appear. It may drive a little funny for the first few minutes though.. Alex in Boulder

Nice job! I'll be installing some new pipe-work tomorrow, and I'll do my damnedest to get a video/sound clip out asap!

Curious what other exhaust mods you got? I've been reading a lot of old threads cause I'm getting ready to put in the MSDS headers. Is it possible you have lost too much back pressure? Theres a guy running the headers, high-flow Y, high-flow cat.....back to 4" supertrapps w/16 discs on each. He was running without the first cat and complained about lost low-end torque. He gained it back when getting the high-flow cat.
On another note, the shop where I had my Borla installed told a friend of mine that it is illegal for them to tinker with the OEM cat? Does anyone know what the hell this is all about before I go out and spend $80 on a high-flow cat?

BLK, I think if you have under a certain number of miles on your car/cat then a shop can't tinker with it. I think that's the way it works. If you're putting in MSDS headers, I'd certainly go for a high flow cat. It'd complete the exhaust system. I certainly wouldn't eliminate the cat, though.

Well I only went from the cat back it's all svt stock, but it must be a lot less restrictive because there was a noticeable loss in back pressure It's res less.I disconnected the battery and no improvement so I am not sure what to do to fix this I might try putting on a Edelbrock res: from summit!! As far as the cat is concerned I'm not sure about that sorry Well got to go for now Originally posted by BLK98.5SVT: Curious what other exhaust mods you got?
