OKAY I HAVE A QUESTION. WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE TO DO TO PUT ON 245-40-18 WHAT KINDA OF MODS WOULD YOU NEED. AND WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU DID HAVE THEM ON WOULD THEY FIT. WOULD THE SCREW UP THE STEERING. confused

I really don't think there is anyway to make those fit... Best would be a 225/40-18 or somewhere close to that... 245's would be way to wide... I could be wrong, Maybe someone else with 18's would be more helpful...

they will not fit.
i have had 19''s for about 2 yrs and have to run 223 35 19
i tried the run 235 but no room! o well, i think with minor mods, or spacers 235's will fit.

- "40" profile is good for a 225mm tire on an 18" rim.
- "35" profile for that 225mm tire on a 19" rim.

A 245/40 profile tire is going to be really thick.

Run your numbers through the Tire Size Calculator and you'll see what I mean.

As well, it will rub. Bad. Doesn't mean that can't be fixed though. Delete the fender liners and roll the metal fenders. Run spacers to clear the suspension springs.

What a pain in the azz though, get the right size and you'll thank yourself..

i have 225's on stock svt wheels with stock svt suspension, and if anything heavier than my dog in in the back sit i scrub, i hate it!!! would trade for some stock svt tires!~! Also i scrub the front while doing any spirited turning
