ok u guys just freaked me out. i have 17 inch rims on a 225/45 zr17 and my rims scrape on my wheelwell thingie. the thinner i go on the tire the more chance of bending the rims??? i dont know what to do. the guy at tirerack said to go 205/45 is that good? and how is the ride??

For the 17" wheels 215-45/17's are recommended.

I've been on those for over a year with O.Z Superleggera wheels without drama.

You could probably go to a 225-40/17 as well, but it might be a tight fit inside the wheel wells.
