Couple days age while on the freeway, I was coming around a corner on an interchange/bridge and nailed what appeared to be hard tar/asphalt that had fallen off a truck (not from the road itself, looked like a mini speedbump). Being in rush hour traffic (boxed in) avoiding it would have meant hitting the median of the scaring the crap out of the guy next to and possibly causing him to wreck.

The result is two bent (front and rear) 17" Millie Miglia EVO Sport's, one bent Hub and possibly two damaged tires (they still hold air, but they may be internally damaged) So I am looking for some thoughts on some nice 18's or 19's to replace all 4. I may just get replacements, but I had been toying with the idea of larger rims for some time now and since insurance will hopefully cover some of it allowing me a nice little upgrade. wink

Here what the car had looked like:

I saw these came in 19" but not for our bolt pattern, maybe I'll plead with them to drill me a set.

After discussing the situation with the insurance agent, she advised me that if I did claim this "accident" (it would considered one since it happend on the road) my rates would increase as I have a couple other incidents already with the insurance company. And since I have 4 policies with that company, its not worth the claim.

Looks like I'm buyin two rims and tires for now mad
