I know where to get some 16" wheels from a Focus with new tires all for $400. Would these look good on a contour. I know 17 or 18 is better but that's a good price and still bigger than what I have. They'll probably be sold by the time I have the money, but asking just in case they're not.

Looks are purely subjective, but I think they look fine. I bought mine off of eBay last year and really like the way they look. Plus, I have yet to see another Contour with them in my area. (Sure, a similar wheel was available for Mystiques, but they were 15 inchers with darkened inserts). Here's a few pictures of them on my car(yeah, that's the stock ride height wink ):

You lifted your car??? They look pretty good, I hope I get some money. I just found some Borbet Type B's 16x7.5 for $99 each. Wider though no tires, looks roughly same as focus wheel.

Nah, there's no lift kit, I've just been teased a bit for the ride height for my car. Really folks, it isn't as high as it looks in photos. laugh

Although Ford must've raised the ride height of the 2000s, since earlier SE's seem to be a lot lower.

I have the focus 16" on my svt and aside from seeming to sit more inside the fender (offset?) they look cool.
A great deal too. I won mine (brand new take offs) for $350.00 plus $100.00 shipping.
Go for it. you can't beat the price!
