I'm lowered and have 18" OZ Superleggera. I
don't rub ever (215/40/18)....I think if the
wheel is made specifically for the car (read:offset) you won't have any problems. The
Mondeo's in Europe race with the Oz wheels....
they weren't my first choice but I don't regret
them now that they are on the car...sorry
no pics yet.

I have the Eibach/Koni setup so what would the "optimal" offset for an 18 x 7.5 wheel be?

Thanks for the info Darkerimage, I guess I'll start saving my chips to get the Konis and ground control's, but one more question do you guys with this set up get a lot of tire wear, and are camber caster plates necessary when lowering the tour. Thanks...

no camber plates- basic alignment- all good- with 19 as snug as I felt comfortable- as low as wanted to go the alignment guy said I was still within specs- and I have seen no odd tire wear- but I also rotate every oilchange- as I do not want to buy new tires any sooner than I need to- but it looks as if there are no wear problems at all-
