I am thinking about going to 215/45/17 from 205/60/15. You guys think I would have any rubbing problems with this? I am new to all this so please help me out. I am also looking for some good tires. I have found some at tirerack.com, let me know what you guys think of these. I will not be driving in the snow too much, only like 5-10 days in a year max. So here are some tires i found. Help me out...thanx

Kumho ECSTA Supra $89
Dunlop SP Sport FM901 $93
Sumitomo HTR+ $96
Pirelli P7000 SUPERSPORT $117

I am looking for tires around the 100 dollar range or less. Please let me know if these tires are good. I want a good combination of handling, comfort and treadlife. Thanks for all your input in advance. Also if anyone is selling rims or tires of this size let me know.

The P7000 SS is an all-season tire. I've had them before and were pretty good. But I'd probably get the Kumho for under $100 tires.

I have some Sumitomo HTR 200's on another car, but I just gotthem and haven't put but 500 miles on them so not much experience to offer. They were cheap and so far the ride is very good.

Also, click me and try me too .

OK, so basically i have narrowed my options to the KUmho's or the Sumitomo's. If anyone has had both of them and can suggest which one is better it would be cool. And do you think i would experience any rubbing problems with the 215/45/17, i have 205/60/15. Will I have to get anything calibrated like the speedo or anything cuz of the size increase?

The 215/45-17 is only -0.3% off from the original tire size, so no calibration is needed...
