I remember seeing a few pics in the past of some SVTs from this site with Rage 5.0 wheels. I searched and it seems that most of the links to the photos are dead. Does anyone have either the 5.0 or the breaker rims on their contique particularly an SVT and more specifically a silver one? I am thinkin of buying these from racesearch.com. By the way has anyone dealt with these guys before? Thx.
Also 40 or 42mm offset should be fine on 7" wheels with either 215 45 17 or 225 45 17. Let me know.

Hey, I have the rage 5.0 rims. I actually started a post with a very similar title to this. I went with the 5.0's cuz they were easier to get, and the breakers either weren't being made, or would need shipped from arizona to pa. Anyway, emial me for pics if u want. jimmkreider@yahoo.com

Shaun G I tried sending you a PM but your box is full. Are the 5.0 a light wheel. The guy at Discount Tire said they are 18lbs. Is this lighter than E1 stock?
Also I posted about Eagel GS Ds on another post. Anyone heard anything good ar bad about these??

Thx but for $102 a wheel I guess Rage 5.0 are the way to go. Now if I could just make up my mind on tires!!!

I just installed rage 5.0's on my car (40 mm) and 214/45/17 pole positions.

Friends who arent even into cars love them, they look great. I bought them because someone else on this site had them, 98SVT something or other.

Sadly, for some reason, they are discontinued, so I bought 5 just in case one gets damaged.

Handling is improved, turn in is fantastic.

Do it.

Thx Plance1 for the info. I wish I could get the Pole Positions but for $112 a tire I will be getting the Nitto NT555 from Tires.com. Also I did not know that the Rage 5.0 was discontinued. Tires.com seems to have good stock.
