I am purchasing 18's within about 2 weeks and I was wondering from going to a 16 to an 18 if you have any problems with the braking. Do you think I would have to buy a whole new brake kit or no? Please help me out here.

Why would you need new brakes after new wheels?

He is just worried tha the stock brakes can not cope with the increased weight and size of the rims. A very valid concern but he does not have anything to worry about.

Unless you're getting some dubz double dipped in chrome that weigh 40lbs a pop, it shouldn't really even be a concern. Except your stock brakes will look extremely small. wink

Quality after market wheels probably will be
lighter than the stock wheels.....I have 18"
wheels and the stock rotors may look puny inside,
depending how visible they are thru the wheels.

The rears with 9" rotors will look especially
"odd" but the my car still looks great.
