Wow, dude, you gave us about 90 minutes on a workday morning. This is a forum, not a chatroom.

So, what did you end up doing?

The 215's will fit the rims OK but I don't know if they will rub on anything.

Why not go with the stock size tires?

Sorry guys , was just under the gun about to spend over 500$ and twas frustrated wink I ordered Mich 205/60/15 Pilot XGT H4 , BUT I think I can cancel the order ( NTB ) and just put my credit toward others - I have the same tires as above right now, they seem to have MUCH less "response" that the POS Goodyears that came on it BUT the Michys have INCREDITABLE traction ( IMO ) so I want to stay with the compound. I just thought maybe sence the compound/sidewall being so "high" that might have something to do with lesser steering response so I wanted to try a lower pro/wider tire - Anyone with suggest on why this would occure please give thoughts... but I might just go with the V4s instead of H4s , there only 20$ more/tire with improved tread patern ( which I've heard has alot to do w/the passive real wheel stering ) they don't make a 215 55 series but a 215 60 series ( not going to 50 unless anyone can vouch good results )

I have 3 more days & I personaly know the salesmen so any important info please post I can still change this ( I think ) AND again sorry for the "hate" post - just have to be carefull with my $$$ ya know laugh

Thanks guys in advance smile

PS oh and you mention some maybe rubbing above, any results on this?

Mine came with Goodyears, they had great response but "broke" loose on turns unexspectedly and not even - but they did wear pretty good for a oilly hard compound.

Check tire rack for available sizes on Bridgestone RE950 or Firestone Firehawk series. The Re950 series is an all weather tire that handles very close to dry service only tires, but handles wet and snow as well. Hope this helps.

I got the 205/60/15 Goodyear Eagle HPs on my SE and they perform and wear very well. I am quite pleased with them. I think they are $76 at Sears this week.

If you want the best handling, you should stay with the 205/60X15 size. The 215/60X15 would have a taller side wall and therefore could flex more. When you increase the width size you also increase the side wall height in the same wheel size. You may also have a rubbing issue with the 215/60X15.
