Both being 17" wheels, which would be a better choice? The Type T is about 1/2 the price and is wider, but the Superleggera weight almost like a feather. Which would be a better choice? I'll be running 225's too.

my opinion, if you want to race get the OZ since they are lighter.

If you want to save $ get the Borbets

If I get 17's, I'll probably use my 16" Borbert Type B for racing. Tires are a little cheaper for 16's.

I like the Superleggeras, and I haven't ever seen the borbets.

the 17" OZ's looks really tiny on our cars for some reason.

I had T-Types on my 87 Turbo II RX-7. They were good solid lowcost wheels (16X8's ran about $225 each at the time) easy to ballance unlike some of the cheap aftermarket wheels out there. I thought about getting them for the tour, till i saw the weight difference between them and the SuperLegra's

If you are running stiff springs the lighter the better from a damping/rebound response perspective. But if you are already running 16" Type B's there may be minimal difference between them and the 17" T's.

Bottom line, if you can spare the cash go for the SuperLegra's
