i saw a red contour with white rims an i want to know if anybody save the pic and which looks better on a contour white rims or chrome or any other.i know this topic has been posted alot but i look in search and could find any alot of the picture don't show up.thanks

Together now. SAY NO TO CHROME!! At least on a contour. It makes the car look tacky.

if you get white rims make sure they are "really" powdercoated......

To check out different types and colors of rims
go to www.tirerack.com you can put in your car and click on all the rims you want to look at and see them on the car. It's pretty cool they have all the colors of the svt.

I want more MODS ! !

i dont think chrome on tours looks tacky. i think the colored rims looks tackier. just my 2 cents. i've seen pics of chrome revo's on a black svt and it was sweet.

...and yes, I did SEARCH first before asking.

Wheels get exposed to the elements, paint will have problems. Over time they can discolor or chip. Powdercoating is much, much stronger then paint and holds up to the elements much better. You can also get other colors besides white, chrome, and black. If you wanted, you could do orange, green, or even purple! :rolleyes:

Powdercoating benefits .

If you found some wheels you like, but not in the color you want, you could have Brad Noon powdercoat them. He is looking for some people to get his wheel line going. Here .
