I realize this has probably been asked thousands of times, but I'll go ahead and ask b/c I couldn't find anything using the search. I'm looking to modify the exhaust on my 2000 SE Sport MTX. I'd really like dual pipes out the back, but I don't want to spend $500. Would installing the SVT exhaust pose any problems? Do the tips on the exhaust interfere with the rear bumper? Even if I did find someone trying to get rid of their SVT exhaust, how difficult is it to install on the SE?

Before the actual veterans show up, I'm going to recommend you run a search using the search link to the top right of the page.
Especially on this board, make this a habit before asking questions.
SVT exhaust costs I believe $300 from resident Ford parts guy, Bill Jenkins. I've yet to see installation described as difficult, but you will need to fabricate a hanger for the passenger side. I cannot answer bumper questions, but will say that I am personally holding off this mod until I have the assets to procure a rear SVT skirt. Quite honestly, this (skirt) is more aesthetic than anything in importance to me.

My bad, I skimmed and assumed. Surprised you couldn't find anything on a search, though. Besides, all the info I regurgitated was from the MOD page...
Anyway, all apologies.

Just unbolt it from the Cat, un hang it, slap on a bracket (easy as pie to make) and bolt that beast back up. Best $100 I ever spent on this car -Chris
