I'm thinking of buying 18" Ace Spades and running 215/40zr-18 tires (Dayton tires) on my SVT. I have stock suspension and will probably get a BAT rear sway bar soon. WIll rubbing be an issue? What other issues might come up? Thanks.

You'll be fine... considering I'm running 18" Ace Spades with 225 rubber on a 3" drop in summer without any kind of rubbing... I've had that combo for 6 months of hard driving now without any issues.

Check out the pics in my sig.

The Spades are a model of wheel made by Ace . They cater more to the import scene than domestics. I think the Spade is their only model that will fit 4x108 bolt pattern.

IIRC, it's not an affordable wheel, I got mine in a trade deal so I couldn't tell you how much they're worth off the shelf.

I have 225/40/18 with stock suspension. no rubbing at all. I think if you go 7.5 inch wide it will rub with 18's. not sure though

You mean you guys with 18's and lowered suspension aren't rubbing at all! Whats your offset? I rubb like there's no tommorow, guess it's just my offset.

To elimate rubbing:
Jack the rear of the car up. Get a hammer, and a rubber mallet. If you look up under the wheel well you will see a piece of body panel sticking in towards the tire. You need to hammer into the the wheel well.
