I know the SVT is a bad A$$ car, but you don't have to follow me home just to tell me.

I know.

I bought the Kumho 712's. Personally, I don't like them at all. The only reason I bought them was becuse of the price and they don't wear as bad as the BFG's. I mean, they are not all that bad, but they don't grab nearly as well. Black SVT will vouch for me on that!!!! laugh

I have heard very good things about Potenza S-03 pole positions. Not sure if they would last longer than the KDW's but from what I here they are the best. I am going to pick up a set myself in a month or so.

Hey, JR, how's the road noise on the Kuhmo's? I don't really care about grip TOO much, and like the price, but I was wondering. Hope they are quieter than stock! eek Thanks! laugh

The KDW is just about the longest lasting high grip tire. The RE930's are right up there too, but most anything else will have either noticeably less grip or wear quicker.

the kdws have 400 tread rating vs the kdw w/ 300 tread rating. though they may not stick as well.

...and yes, I did SEARCH first before asking.

Unfortunately, 'good', 'best', and 'cheap' aren't words often found in the same sentence when dealing with high performance tires. wink

Want grip?: S-03's
Want life?: get a touring tire
Want low cost?: 712's
Want a good balance of cost vs. grip?: KDW, RE930

My $.02 laugh
