i couldnt get the damn bolt off and i think i stripped it so if some one knows how i can get that off i would be very thankful.

DconNavi -- what bolt did you strip? The one that holds the stock one on!? That's an allen-head nut, so use an allen wrench. Interestingly, I used a Torx T10 and it got it out, but not back in. I'll get pics ASAP.

I just put mine on and used some really thin double sided tape wrapped on the rod to hold it. Then I used the back screw as a set screw, and it isnt moving at all.

Yeah i know i used an Allen wrench and i think i stripped it! Cause it fit snug brfore and now it just turns.

The screws that came with the shifter dont fit into the screw holes on the rod. How are people screwing this thing in??

The 3 allen head screws located at the bottom of the shifter is what we are using to hold it on.
