Why 16"? Do you already have 16" snow tires?

I've yet to see 16" steel rims for the Contour, but Tirerack would know.

Yep, I have 16" snow tires that I've been swapping on and off OE 16" wheels. I'd like to leave the KDWs on the OE 16"s and get a whole addition set of wheels for the snows.

Unfortunately, there is no 16" steel wheel for the Contour.

I tried EVERYWHERE, including Tire Rack, to no avail. My car came with a set of 16" Blizzaks unmounted, so I was stuck.

Buy a alloy you love for summer, and use the stockers for winter.

If no steelies, try a junkyard for some Cougar rims, or wrecked SVT's. Or, Tirerack's cheapest alloy is $89ea.

Cougar rims would be the way to go. You can get a used set for $200-$400 depending on the condition. Try the For Sale section at NECO forums.
