Well, I'll soon be putting tires on my car and I figure that now's the best time to mount up those 17" SVT wheels I've got in the garage.

I've had two sets of KDW's now and like them alot, but I'm sorta interested in trying something new this go round. Here's what I've come up with so far:

Dunlop SP Sport 9000 v/s BFG KDW's v/s Bridgestone Potenza RE730

I'm leaning towards the Dunlops due to their high treadwear rating, and the fact TireRack ranks them as a "Max Performance Tire". Which covers both of my needs (performance and durability for less than $150 per tire). Anybody tried these Dunlops out yet?

Thanks,
Brian

I've had The SP 9K's a little over a year now. Dropped the car and didn't get alignment. Fronts wore out at about 30K. Over all I love the tires. Great bite and awesome in the rain (AA traction rating). Not that it matters very much but just about everyone on the Acura TL boards has them. Don't drive in the snow though, as if I had to tell you that. I was going up a very slight hill (5% grade) about 200 feet long and almost didn't make it up.
