Maybe I am over simplifying things but wouldn't it be nice if we could all come to some agreement on what offset works best with what width wheel. I believe almost everyone is in agreement on what size tires to run with 16,17, and 18 inch rims, but I have read many different ideas on what offset to run. I believe if everyone with after market wheels and tires would post and truthfully tell us what size and offset they are running we could accumulate some sort of knowledge base to help all contour modifiers make an educated decision on what to run on their own rides. I do not want to step on toes or alienate anyone but purchasing a set of wheels and tires is a very large investment for some people.

The offset for a 7" wide wheel should be 42mm. A 7.5" needs a 45mm offset. This should be close to perfect no matter what diameter the wheel is. Mine are 17x7.5 with 225/45/17 tires. My offset is 45mm.

EO SVT Contours have a 49.5mm offset (according to th SVT Contour factory video I have for sale in the Misc. section.)
