Hope I can get some advice.
I took a set of rims in for refinishing and I am not happy with the job. What can I do?
The shop called me and said my wheels were ready. I went in and took a look --- well right away I know the job was poorly done. It looks like there are a few specs of dirt under the clearcoat, small pits still in the machined surface (and the rims were in pretty good shape when they went in). Looks like the guy that works the lathe did a bad job. Looks like the painter did a bad job.
I pointed a couple of the flaws to the guy behind the counter. He seemed a little embarassed and asked me to leave the wheels and he would call me back next week to come and get them (presumably after they fix them)
Here is my question: What can I do if I am not satisfied with the work?
Do I refuse to pay and ask for a used set of the same rims, that I gave them, to get refinished somewhere else?
I wish I could go back in time and just have chosen another shop.
bummer
