MIL eliminators plug into the o2 sensor wiring harness and trick the computer into thinking that the elim is actually the downstream o2 sensor reading a functioning cat. Keeps the computer happy and the check engine light off.

Hmmmm, thats what I thought. I just had them put on today and, for whatever reason, he didn't put them on. He told me he took it for a drive without them on and the light didn't come on. I even tried restting the computer to see if the CEL would go off. I've driven about 10 miles so far and no light. Is it gonna come on eventually?

Probably. It usually takes awhile for the light to come on.

Dunno if I can make it. If I do, it'll be last-minute (as always)
