Can anybody tell me how much damage a @@#$ng 3/8" (or 10 mm) long screw that I pulled out of my oem BFG KDW (approximately 9500 miles) this morning has likely inflicted??? It was imbedded in thick, blocky tread section if this helps.

Please tell me that I have nothing to fear. I somehow however, expect the worst.

Any input is appreciated and thanks in advance.

If the tire doesn't leak you have nothing to worry about(it probably didn't hit the cords).

If no leaks, then you're not too bad off. Whenever I get a nail in the tread, I take it to my local Discount Tire because they have free flat repairs, regardless of where you got the tire. They usually pull the nail/screw and plug it.

I caught a nail a little bigger than that in my BFG KDW's a few months ago (with approx. 5000 miles on them). It gave me a flat, but I wasn't fortunate enough to have it catch in the meaty part of the tread. However, the tire shop I went to patched it up with no problems. It hasn't lost any pressure since.
