I just purchased ADR Reactions for my SVT and they are 18's.
The size of the tire is 215/40R18!
Does anyone know what my chances are that these will rub?
And if they will how bad is it and what can i do about the fenders?

They'll rub. I have 225 on 18's and my car is slammed. It rubs when I hit big bumps and when there is too much stuff in the back (people).

My car is lowered on Eibach springs also, so how bad will the rubbing be?
Just when I hit bad bumps and have people in the back?
Or will it happen alot?
And is there anything I can do about it, to make it stop?

What's the offset and width of the wheel? One guy here used to have a 99 SVT, he purchased Axis TC's, in 18x7.5's, offset of 42mm, with Parada 225/40-18's, it didn't rub at all. He didn't trim the fender-lips, but on my 98 with 18x8's, 40mm offset, 225's, it rubs. Not so badly with my fender-lips trimmed, but still rubs.

Humm, interesting... So if I had found 18x7.5's in a 43mm offset, would I be rubbing on my SVT with 225/40's??

The Contour came with the fender lips rolled starting with 1999 1/2 models. Most cars before the 99.5 models can not use 225's because they rub
