i have the Nitto 450 Extreme and they are great. i like the looks and how they perform. grab is excellent and the wear is pretty long sinse they have slits in them making the grooves farther. great in rainy weather.

Hate to bring this one up to the top but I too am looking at Nitto tires.
I know Nitto is considered the Rice boy tire of choice but they are cheap and supposedly perform well. Commments from long time users?
They have a good treadwear rating of 300.
I am considering getting my 1 bent 17" SVT wheel fixed and will need new tires on those soon. Looking at the NT555 in 225/40/17 for $120 each or NT450 in 215/45/17 for $89 each Currently running ContiSports in 225/45.
Since I am running on my stock E1's w/ KDW's I may just upgrade to a 225/45/16 or a 225/50/16. Nt 450 in 225/50/16 are $80 and Tire rack has a few choices in 225/45/16 as well.
Thanks for the help!

Well I had Nitto 450's on my old wheels and I have to say they are great, especially seeing how much cheaper they are now too! I have 15,962 miles on them and they look like they'll easily go another 15K These tires look good, wear great, handle well and are quiet to boot, good luck with them on your Tour/Mystique

I just bought a set of NT 555 tires in 225 40 17 and so far so good. The tire is MUCH quieter than the KDW s and the ride is suprisingly smooth for such a low profile tire. The ride is almost softer with these tires. I got them for about $110 a tire (US$) from discount tire.com with my SVTOA discount. The shorter sidewall is causing more wheel hop under HARD acceleration in the wet but handling is good. Will know better how it handles on the track in August at Mosport with the SVTOA.
Hope this helped.
