I could not find any tires under $70 dollars a tire, so I called the used parts place in Pembroke as I am originally from there. $25 for each tire off a recent wreck! Very nice tires! No problems for last 20000kms! 90% tread left on tires!

Costco in Montreal carries the sumitomo srixon4, a resonnable all season replacement tire. Beware, they do not carry much of anything in the 16 inches and above...

Stephen-
Not sure how much you want to spend, but I had a set of Pirelli P3000's (P205-60-15)on my 98 V6, and I just loved them. Nice handling, winter and summer, dry and wet. Got them at Frisby Tire for about $90 Canadian apiece.

Speaking of which, I have a set of Goodyear Eagle GT+4s that were on my SVT last summer for sale. Had them on for one full summer. They have some wear cuz I really toss the car around corners but I don't want much money for them either! Anybody who makes me a reasonable offer gets them. We're talking about 16's of course ------------------ Pascal 1998 SVT Silver Frost ~ Some mods ~

I too am in Ottawa and am looking to replace the OE's on my E1 SVT. Have been mainly talking to dealerships: Campbell Lincoln Heights and Frisby. Nothing less than $200 for the ultra high performance that I'm looking for. Wouldn't mind checking out your car.

They were very nice, good in both wet and dry and summer and winter.
About 85-90 apiece at Frisby Tire here in Ottawa.

I reckon they're nothing like the Z-rated rubber that came OEM with the car, but they're not that bad at all either. I'm letting them go because I'm getting a set of bigger wheels for summer, otherwise I would have used them this year. If you need something to get you through sumer, gimme 100$ and all 4 are yours. They're not mounted on rims either, so you pick them up whenever if you want. Email me if interested: silversvt@hotmail.com ------------------ Pascal 1998 SVT Silver Frost ~ Some mods ~
