I plan on participating in a FATT track-time session at Summit Point with my '99 SVT sometime in the next couple of months. I just put new KDWs (from TireRack) on and I have a question. How much can I expect to beat up these tires on the track? I would hate to ruin an almost new set of tires. Has anyone done this recently and if so what was your experience concerning tire wear?

rmail, where do you live?? Summit Point is only about half an hour away from me (Western Loudoun, VA). I've been there many times, and am friends with the owner, Bill Scott.

I live in Fairfax. Takes about 80-90 minutes to get there from here. I've been up a few times for the Ferrari club and some of the WKC Karting events. I wanted to run my own kart up there, but having two rug rats put that plan on hold, so I figure FATT is as close as I'm going to get. Are you at the track alot?
