Which tires are better??? I was dead-set on the Potenza's, then I see the current customer reviews of the KDWS at tirerack... man, they seem to outperform the Potenza's! Or is the score just relative to the class of tire... meaning the excellent ratings for the KDWS is for all season, while the Potenza's scores reflects it's performance in the non all-season category... curious...

It is a class related rating. The performance tires out perform all-season tires in almost all cases.

Take a look at the surveys that TireRack has on their website, TireRack Comparison. Based on those, I'd say the RE730s out perform all but the new Firehawk SZ50 EP.

I'm planning on purchasing the RE730 tires at the end of the month. I used to have the SZ50 tires, but they only lasted 20K.
