I have a 99 contour with stock tires (205/60R15) Firehawk. I would like to replace them with better tires. I would like to go to a tire size of 215/60R15. Would this give me a problem with the tires rubbing? And what tires would you recomend? Thanks.

The 215/60/15 should fit with no problem, The 99'-00' SVT's come with 215/50/16 tires, So the overall diameter would be close to the same, What type of tire are you looking for , all-season ,or high performance.

Travis how do you like your kuhmo's, are the 225/45/16 a better match for our cars then kuhmo's 225/50/16, also tirerack has the 225/45/16 for use with rims 7.0 to 8.5 inch and we have 6.5 inch rims, so how do they look on the SVT rims , that is if you still using the stock rims, and how do they compare to the KDW's

I have 225/50/15's on the stock alloys, no problem what so ever. 215/60's are a little taller though... ------------------ Brad "supercharged closet" Noon '99 SE MTX, many mods http://www.bnmotorsports.com

go to www.toyo.com they have a chart there that shows tire sizes and tire diameters. look at your original tire diameter and find a wider tire within a few inches and you'll be fine, plus sizing your wheel will help also, but that cost's alot more money

215/60/15 will work just fine. They fill in the wheel well really well. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried a 225/60/15? Does it clear the the struts?
