Does anyone know how good these tires are , the 215/50/16VR are only $64.00 at tirerack , I was planning on buying another set of KDWs but the comments on tirerack say nothing but good things about the VR4s and they say that the VR4s have very good tread wear.

The 215/50r16 VR4's are different from all other sizes of VR4. Different tread pattern and all season compound designed for Ford. Not a good tire.

I have them on my stock wheels which are now in a shed in my back yard. Nothing to sneeze at, but not THAT bad of a tire. I plan on finishing them off at a driving school in March. WOOHOO! John ------------------ '98 Contour SVT with 'stuff' http://home.carolina.rr.com/czech007/

My brother took his siped VR4s for a few laps around Pueblo, and they looked like dogs had chewed on them. Have fun!
It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than it is to drive a fast car slow.

Ned,
I know it'll happen, but I wanna keep the stock wheels for track and Auto-X racing.
They wouldn't be worth taking them off and selling them, so might as well rag them out.
