Last year I paid to have a set of Michelin Pilot Alpins snow tires installed on my 96 SE. I just noticed that the tires are NOT marked "Pilot Alpin" but are instead marked only "Michelin XM+S 300".

Are these tires the same or was I the victim of a switcheroo?

The XM+S 130's and 330's were the predecessors to the Alpine. Diff between the two is the 330 was h-rated. I have the 130's and love them. I never heard of a 300 though. Possibly an early version of the Alpine?
