Hey guys, listen i'm a bit confused with what I should do with winter tires. I have a couple of ?'s about the blizzaks MZ-02's:
1. What is the ride quality like (over bumps, on the highway, and so on...)
2. reliability at highspeeds
3. treadware with steady highway/city driving.

Thanks alot for your help.

Answers from my experience...

Q1
They are a softer tire, so they ride smoother than the factory tires (especially if you have Z-rated rubber like on the SVT).

Q2
They are Q rated (160km/h I think) so they are designed for relatively high speed. The sidewall is softer, so the handling is not nearly as precise as stock though with more wandering being the result.

Q3
Try to put them on after the first snow and take them off when winter is over. Warm weather and dry roads are like sandpaper for these tires, so don't corner very fast or spin them on dry pavement. Follow these rules and they'll last many winters.
