The problem is with the sidewall height or lack there of. I've had 2 sets of Nittos, 501's and 450's and they didnt ride any rougher than other simular tires. They handle good but the treadwear sucks.

What size were they and what are u running now?

The Nittos were 205/40/17. I use BF Goodrich Euro TA's in a 205/40/17 now. I have hydraulics now, so my main concern is treadwear rather than handling.

Im riding on nitto450 215/45 17, haven't noticed any rough ride, great handling though..tread wear not the greatest if you drive it drive it, but i drive like a grandmother...
hey smp291 on your 215/35 18. do you feel any rubbing when you do hard turns or on speed bumps??

I have rubbed the rears a couple of times but not very easily, You have to do like 85mph around a funny banked downhill corner onto the free way with 4 people in the car and a toddler.
