I don't know if anyone is interested, but I ran across this link on eBay. It is a 98 CSVT.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1824960937&r=0&t=0

Dean Stallings Ford (Oak Ridge, TN) is auctioning the car. I've dealt with Ray Varner up there - he is a nice guy who will shoot straight with you - I do recommend him.

(BTW: I have NO stake in the sale or non-sale of the CSVT. Just passing the info along.)

(BTW Part II: I DO have a stake in the sale of my 94 Cobra and recommend that car to everyone. wink )

The auction listed above ended - it got as high as $9,000 - but didn't meet the reserve.

It is being relisted though.

Just curious...what do people think it is worth?

The reserve is 13k, I would definitly pay that. What was that bulge in the weather stripping in the picture with the trunk open? Right under the third brake light, it looked like someone had pulled the up rubber or something. Anyway, 98 w/40k+ miles for 13k is not bad at all. I'll see if my dad wants to buy it. (*crosses fingers*)

If I didn't have my CSVT...I would buy it. But I would want to take a look at it first. Looks very clean and leather looks practically new.

Price is way too high! I just paid $11,500 last month for an identical 98 SVT with only 23k miles. Mine is in twice as better shape too
