I was wondering what everyone has used to get rid of the nasty black slinky looking thing from the air box use to be to the chamber? Can you take that chamber off and put a straight pipe to sensor to filter element? Any ideas or guidance?

So is it a pipe all the way from the filter element & sensor all the way to the chamber?

that is nice That is BAT correct? I will look into it, I am tired of that ugly black tube! Yuck! Has anyone removed that chamber all the way? What happens if I do remove it ? I have no idea thats why I am asking.

This is an ABS plastic cone made to fit the TB on one side and the MAF on the other. I applied pipe insulation to help keep it a bit cooler. The air pipe is over 9" long so the MAF bolts directly to the cone filter. (No adaptor needed) The outside end of the cone filter is about 2" from the fenderwell opening and external air.
