...and he's member #1716... Seriously though, use the search function in the upper right corner. H&R's have a "raked" look (front slightly lower than back). Eibach's are a progressive drop and lower the car evenly front and back. But the drop is more than the H&Rs and are a problem when encountering speed bumps and curbs! Ground Control Coilovers are more expensive, but allow you to adjust the height of your car to your preference. Ground Control Group Buy is going on now, check my sig...

Well as any smart person knows... Time changes opinions, and on products, these opinins may be changed due to wear and tear , so with this in mind which is better in the long run. some springs will kill you in the long run due to not being able to keep a strut conditioned well with in it. so I asked to whom this may concern, with the experience of their drop how r things now . EXPERIENCE is the key word that is why I asked them that experience takes time . dont think that because youve been around the club for awhile you will know everythings about mods, I mean hey how long have the coil overs been out anyway. and how easy are they to install smart guys... not very easy. 2 eyes 1 mouth , for what reason? think about it

2 eyes 1 mouth , for what reason? think about it uummmm...i read practically every thread on eibachs, h&rs and coilovers. my observations: eibach owners have come to see that they become lower over time. i've talked to the guy who had the prototype gc coilovers put in his car over a year ago and he still loves them. install is not as tough as you think - everybody blows it out of proporation. 3 hours for streetconcepts to do it himself and there's a how to. opinions have not really changed with time from what i have read. i had eibachs in my last car and my opinions of them did not change over time. just trying to help....

Sounds to me like you just don't feel like doing the legwork involved in using the search function to answer your questions MR SVT
You make it quite obvious by the other post you started in this section about engine mods, that exact question has been asked numerous times in the last month alone. It's one thing for a newbie to not know to use the search function but it's completely different when you have been a member longer than I have!

everyone please calm down. maybe he is just asking this question to hear feedback for himself. maybe he just likes the commrodery involved with a site like this with people who share a common interest. please stop asking people to use the search because they would if this site was made up of people just sitting at their computers waiting to flame someone, but it isnt. we are a community of car enthusiasts who will answer anyones question no matter how many times they ask it because we love to talk about our cars. hence the name "enthusiasts." mr svt i have eibachs on my 95 se and the ride is very similar to the sport ride that came on my car from the factory. at first the drop was about an inch, but now after having them for a year it has seemed to settle about a half inch lower. please do not hesitate to ask any questions pertaning to your car i will be more than happy to answer you to the best of my knowledge, after all i am a contour enthusiast.
