Had a deal around $500 to $600. But then everyone started saying for that price lets make it a cow or ram air hood. Quicksliver was saying a cow, but now guess just wants an OEM look?

Anyways, take this to the "Group Buy" forms where they'll be more traffic

these are already made Proto...

hope i don't get shot for this.

1. New hood, carbon fiber, but it can be gel coated to paint on so it matches the car. Solid carbon fiber not, just laid on top for looks. Vented over the air filter, and he is coming up with a new filter design, sort of like the stock air box but it is larger and it sealed snug against the hood right under the vent. You can us your stock air system but his new one is going to be design to work with the hood. Best part 350 to 400 bucks, without new air filter set up. I got dibs on the first one already, so don't even try it!!!
2.Deck lid(trunk)carbon fiber with a spoiler, told him I didn't think this would be too popular but who knows. Same price 350 to 400 without spoiler.
3.Brake kit, four piston, anodized like his intake, 12 in rotors in front, croos drilled slotted whatever you want. Less than bear but no price yet.
4. Headers, he has a set on the race car and he wants to put them into production.
5. Race cam, pistons rods, and all the internal stuff in his race engine he can get if you want.
6.Coil over kit, which makes you stock struts adjustable, no price.
7. Sweet control arms and other suspension goodies.
8. His own exhaust which I think is going to be true duel but not sure.
9. He has dyno now 100 bucks an hour.
10 Last a fully intagrated computer system that has given a proven 15 to 20 percent increase in horse power on top of whatever mods you already have. Down side 1400 bucks installed, sort of like fast and furious stuff but you don't get to keep the lap top for the weekend races.

Just like everything else. Mmmmm big surprise. Same as the ground effects, same as the Aussie bar, same as the...no one ponies up when it becomes time. If I get flamed for this then so be it.

Umm that would be fine and dandy, but I believe Mirko is SELLING his svt. So, I see no more devolpment of contour parts from him. Now are best bet is from StreetConcepts has is the only true person developing anything Carbon Fiber for us. Now get in on those Carbon Fiber sail panels!!

Mirko has many things in development which he wants to keep quiet about becuase a tone of people flodding the phones would only make things occur more slowly. His Contour has been up for sale for close to 7 or 8 months. We had a meet there at that time and got to see it. He was still developing parts for the contour even though he no longer raced it. The only reason he gave it up is because Ford did not support him. He still has to buy all the parts at the prices we get them at. Ford is a lousy sponsor.

But things were supposed to be getting close to the finishing point by Nov. We have kept quiet about it because he has asked us to. I someone, not all of you, call him and find out what is going on.

To peak your curiousity: In development over 2 months ago, a full CF hood (not overlayed), with hood vents and a special duct over the intake for $350. For $450, a special RAM air intake designed specifically for this hood. $450 takes that. I think it is worth a call before you guys go and spend a ton of money on a different hood.

Thanks a lot BIGFISHE you let the cat out of the bag! Well since I was the one that put up the post, and he did say November, maybe I'll make a trip down there this weekend. Any norcal want to go with me? Didn't want to tell the whole world until we had it in our hands. No sense getting everyone excited and it never happening. Mirko isn't a large company so he doesn't have to have 20, 30, or 50 buyers lined up to produce the hood. It might happen, it might not happen, he may only end up making one, which would be cool because I'd have the only one. But like Mysticali said don't flood him with calls, if you never been there this is a very small shop with only a hand full of guys. So the more time he has got to spend on the phone with us, the less time he has to make our hood. Believe me I'll be running to a computer to let everyone no the minute he tells me he got one done.
