IIRC, this is a proposal for next year. The last person I talked to on the STAC said they were considering this for next year not for implementation this year since the season had already started. I also thoght I saw this as a proposal in Fastrack for next year. I may be wrong on this so verify with SCCA National. The SCCA Forum is not part of the official SCCA website.

Well, this year or next, I'm not running STX anyway. But it's a good trend, and if this one ever bleeds over to STS, it would be a good thing. There are plenty of cars out there with no precats who can install headers.

The post said they were "approved" items in the latest Fastrack, but again, I don't know whether that means for this year or next.
